So should we have full newbied invuln gear too for $500? Playing devil's advocate of course, but as Eru said: Anything that gives you an advantage and isn't purely cosmetic is detrimental for the server.

Eeeh bro.. The only advantage of an ethereal mount is that u can run mounted after death on ur way to ur corpse but u are still extremely fragile while fully naked. Im not gonna explain why full invul gear is different.

Anyways, imo an ethereal mount isnt any advantage at all. A point that u guys can make is that the tamers sell less mounts... Okay it will be true.. But how much? Maybe 5-6 ppl on a shard havin an ethereal mount like this is not only 1% of the playerbase. I cant believe the tamers wont feel it in their wallet at all. It gives a few 100 dollars for server updates, advertisement on toplists and much more, u can fill it in.

An ethereal mount is also not a disadvantage at all in events as everyone is mounted or not mounted. In open world its easier to reach ur body thats the only small advantage it gives you as stated earlier. It wont make any difference at all imo.
