Just because the changes are going global doesn't mean the staff will lose interest in improving and maintaining the quality of PvP, if problems arise or deficiencies are identified then we will do our best to address them. We're not exactly rushing either, I spent weeks in private, then semi-public testing before bringing the testing to the live server for the last 2 weeks.
You mean inviting individuals to a private server where nearly 80% of them goofed off or not many of them know what they're talking about :p? Then on live the portal nearly everyone that tried it only liked it because of damage increasing of spells like FS or they only liked it because it's different from the pvp we have now and they rather have fizzle or try something new than being good at this one. There were many people who as well didn't like it :p
Anyways it's your call imo but there are things that could have been added without others to test small changes instead of adding them in all at once and having such a big change. For example add damages wait for poison mitigation, then add mindblast mana drain and armor based spells then add the poisoning to see if people like it. You just choose to add them altogether because you think that adding the new poison system will add a new variety of skill :p
I myself still don't like this regen system I still rather use potions and i think i was one of the most active players even practicing in that type of PvP
