People worked for their gold and like to see a reward. Also a lot of people spent lots of money into that progressive jackpot and have it be reset is a total waste.

Gold is the reward for the work.... gambling isn't work.... its a risk.... you cant expect it to pay out to you...

Regardless of what happened a risk was taken for a number of players to work the same machine.... it didn't pay off for them, the risk was taken and they lost.... really that's all there is to this.
