yea but i also remember from NOS that i managed to get a fair amount of skill gain from repair. Inparticular the repair of damaged rare amour, is that going to be the case here?

The nail in my side is that mining is one ore per hit. If there is anything I hate, and I mean absolutely despised about INR it was that you could only get one ore each time you hit the ground. It's fine that smithing is hard and takes alot of ore.

You get a random amount of 1-5, depending on what ore you are mining. Mining takes 2-5 seconds. Eg, iron ore gives you 2-5 every mine, but something like aqua would give you 1-4 (these are just examples).
