I don't disagree but from a RP standpoint it is easy explained why the next ranking officer takes over whereas deciding who takes over from royalty should there be no heir is a tad more complex. Sure staff could transfer it over if need be. As I said before, I'm not saying it won't work, just I've been involved in such things before and these are the issues it encountered and it didn't end well. Best of luck to you should you go through with it and hopefully you have more success than the ones I have seen.
