there are advantages to using explosion and energy bolt over FS. so as of right now there are 3 very powerful and very utilitarian nukes. eb and exp dmg are based on the enemy's armor rating, so i will let you play around with it to find out what you prefer to use
if you come from a server with a different PvP style then yes you will need to adapt a bit to get up to speed. but, that being said, i don't mean that the PvP won't be changed/tweaked in the future. i really wouldn't be surprised if there was action taken to increase the utility of spells like mind blast fireball and meteor swarm like you stated, but again i also wouldn't be surprised if that change doesn't happen considering there are already 3 very powerful nukes, 2 of them being based on AR rating.
