I'd love to get more involved in RP, though it does get hard when you are surrounded by internet shorthand and all the "doodz" or people are just afk macroing everywhere so no idea who is actually paying attention or not. I'd be interested in joining an order guild, there are a few issue for me though. Partly it is the guilds I have heard about don't suit my RP (sure there are more that I haven't heard about, just haven't found them yet). I also wouldn't be willing to join one that had a king or queen, I dunno that sort of puts someone too high on a pedestal and if they leave/go inactive it leaves the guild in a bad place from a RP standpoint, I have no issue with a leader of types, like a commander/guild leader or whatever (easy to replace them should the need arise). One the biggest issue is as Boomrak mentioned, I am rather afraid of dying, not because I don't want to die and lose my stuff but more so because simply, my skills are low and it is going to take me a while to get them up before I am anywhere near close to being able to fight remotely well, also I have never PvP before, so I got no idea and am still learning how things work (though I admit I don't even know where to begin, I have been watching where I can but it is still rather bewildering). I'm also from Australia and the lag is terrible, even if I did learn how to PvP sort of well, I'd probably still die due to the fact I'd be lagging like crazy. So with all that in mind, I'm reluctant to join an order guild in case I get "forced" to take on a challenge I have no hope of winning or be shunned by the group because I opted not to.
