On the other hand a server in AUS would no doubt be laggy for some players on other continents. You have to think about the whole player base. It doesn't make much sense to host a server on a different continent than most of the players, and I definitely understand the owner/admin wanting to have full control of the server.

Cujo used to tear it up back in the day and he was on AOL dialup from France.
