Nalo, let me explain something. The merge started out by me trying to contact the IN staff team. After a while that worked out, and we decided to set up a forum. When we had that forum up we started discussing things, the first thing on the list to discuss was if we actually could merge our two communities and to see if the shards are to far away from eachother to merge. This was done by explaing the other server and writing a "Must or no merge" list. XUO PvP was on the XUO list, but on the bright side for INers (and XUOers!) is that we didn't have much more and left most of the skills and world over to the IN play style.
The shard will be something like this:
80-90% IN1 world and feel (skills, crafts, gains, spawns, loots etc).
10-20% XUO influence, so that XUO players can still feel at home.
100% XUO PvP.
So yet again, it's not greed, it's a mutually beneficial agreement.
