If you died from ONE lightning strike towards your head when you had 100hp then I'd say Shade was bored and had fun with the .kill command

Nah but do what they suggested. Don't join any order/chaos guild until u're good enough to defend yourself against gankers in blue towns. If they still try to kill you (unless u're karma grey) u'll be able to call guards on them. Macro your resist like Eighty said, because it will make spells towards you do less damage, and also macro your eval int and your spells will do more damage vs others, so that will help as well. :]
