I think you guys are taking what they say the wrong way. All you have to do is add a message like when a GM responds to a page, so whenever there is an event it just sends a message to that person. Also, make it able to be toggled on/off so if you don't want it you can turn it off. I doubt adding this feature would hurt anything, or make less people use forum.

I like it. I should also be able to send those little message gumps to people without them paging.
