Not to put words in his mouth but I think maka would be proud that staff members give their time and effort into making events as much as possible and would understand that how events are ran cannot be set in stone due to the fact that circumstances often change.

In any case, there is nothing left to discuss here. Bottom line is whoever hosts the event has the final say. I think the best thing to do here is thank Promoe for the event, simply state that you never want to be captain again and be grateful it didn't end in a much less desirable way.

whatever, you make it seem like we destroy your life because you host an event, or that your time is so precious that we have to kiss your feet or something, don't you forget us the players spend our time playing here for the shard aswell so that all your hard work pays off? We the people who love this game spend just as much time here as you do with our hunting and reporting bugs so that you can fix. Sure the staff should be thanked for the work and time they've put into the shard but you guys blow it out of perportion

Anyways, im not thanking no one for allowing me not to be a captain because it's my choice if I want to be a captian or not lol.. No matter the circumstance theres no reason why there should be assigned capitans on a 60+ playerbase shard
