Moving this to the Techinal forums since it's not a bug on the server but from your end.

Did you patch with UOPatch.exe and UO.exe after you installed or did you just get the client from the website? You should patch all the way to client 7 and after that download client 6 from the website.

If that doesn't work maybe someone else has a solution for you.
Also, make sure your UO is completely uninstalled before installing it again (removing the UO dir etc.).
