My thoughts:
Dragons/nightmares - would it be possible to script them in such a way where they can't attack players, similar to how when you attack someone with a blackwidow it does normal damage?
Invis pots - aren't these one of the regular pots? I thought we had disabled them as they were not there on sphere (correct me if I'm wrong). How would these work in the event they are added; drink the pot and you go invis, but once you move you are revealed (unless you have stealth and then you can walk x number of steps)?
PVP - Do I need to quote the merge agreement saying INX would use XUO style PvP? I really can't see Taran abandoning the principals set out from day 1 of INX.
As for making it XUO style PvP in events and IN style PvP in the world, think how hard that is; you would have to learn 2 types of PvP to play on INX.
I can honestly foresee those who don't like XUO style PvP not joining events and holding their breath until it gets changed to IN style PvP as well. As for those who like XUO style PvP, I think they'd have no choice but to go along with the change since the main thing most of them do is PvP and if they want to continue doing that they'd have to adapt.
I think if you make any changes to the PvP you open the door to allow for more and more changes to gradually be made. Eventually the XUO style PvP will get replaced altogether. I don't see how it's fair to make all the XUO players lose the one thing they're on this shard for vs making the IN players learn something new.
I always hear about how innovative and versatile IN players are, well be versatile now and adapt. It's not impossibly hard PvP, if people just tried it for more then 30 seconds or asked someone to spend some time teaching them they'd get over the mental barrier they put up against it. The PvP can't be soooo bad if an IN player is currently one of the best PvPers on the shard (galdor) and there are other IN players like Lederoil who manage just fine.
