The weather is real amazing at this point, apparantly where most of us live, actually in most of Europe last time I checked. It's been between 23-28 degrees and sun outside for almost every day for like two weeks now, it's almost "too hot" to be inside, I'm about to go buy some air conditioner soon just to be able to be inside a little while during the day when I'm off work.
It's not hard to figure out why the client count may not be as high as it used to be considering that it's probably this hot where most of you live, and then the first thing coming to mind isn't "lets sweat and play UO!", at least not to my mind. I heard some rumors that the weather would get colder soon once again tho, so then I think the player count will raise a lot, so if you really want to play IN-X when it's this hot (or if it isn't this hot where you live) - do it - you have time to macro now and get your character ready, and you have all the hunt spots to yourself, and once the rest of the players return you'll be ready to kick some serious ass!
About the skillgain:
I can see why players from the XUO side of the merge would complain, cause they want everything to be GMed 5 seconds after they started macroing, I know, I'm one of them. But fact is that if they would realize HOW MUCH we've actually increased the skillgain to satisfy us XUO players I think they would stop complaining. At first it took a lot just to compromize enough to get it a lil faster, and after a lot of discussions we've actually made it a lot faster, heck some skills aren't even much slower than they were at XUO anymore. If you know how to set your macros good then you can get ready to PK and PvP in no-time, the players saying this isn't trying to "lure you", they're trying to help you figure out how to set your macros in a better way and speed your skillgain up, so listen to them and see what they can tell you, because it'll help you get ready to gank and pvp, and that's what you want, right? There is plenty of time to get enemies, but my suggestion is that you wait until you have your character ready before you start making them, because it serves no purpose to have a lot of enemies when you don't even have a character able to kill them with.
