That's not how things work, Smoke.To understand the situation fully you need to see our side of the problem. I'll try to explain to you so you'll know in the future why we can't just replace your items or why this issue remains unfixed.
Why it's not fixed yet: Only recently I became aware of this issue and I've been really busy so I haven't had any time whatsoever to take a look at it yet. This issue will be looked into when I have time to do so but there are other things that take priority. Expect me to have more time after 15th when I've finished my exams.
Why your items weren't replaced: We are still in beta. Things like this are bound to happen. Since you didn't even care about the items no harm done, right? If something valuable is actually lost we do take a look at it and see if we can do something about it.
What should you do if you want this issue fixed faster: Report every time this issue occurs. It only takes you a few minutes to do so and might help tracking down the bug when I get to finding the cause. I think I might know what's wrong with the cutting script and if it turns out to be what I think it is thanks go out to Lederoil for leading me to right track. With hard to track bugs a lot of the time is spent testing so if players would bother to report issues when they see them it would help alot. Just saying: "I died, fix this shit!", isn't very helpful. Tell in as much detail as you can what happened.
Personal note: You didn't lose anything that you cared about anyway... As of late, I'm really starting to feel like just probably spending my upcoming freetime doing something else than fixing bugs for ungrateful bunch of people who do nothing but complain no matter what (doesn't apply to everyone ofcourse). I've lately seen some other staff members starting to burn out too. We are here to help you, not to make your gaming experience harder. I wasn't interrogating you, I was asking information that might help me track down the cause of this bug. Why the attitude?
