The point is to make it faster to copy them. Instead of recalling to each location in a full rune book, marking another rune to them, naming the rune and dropping it in the book, you just copy it at the cost of the same amount of resources or a bit more for the convenience of not having to do what you have to do now.

And yea shade, it's lazyness but it's also another way for people who spend time GMing the skills (inscription in this case) to make money
