It's not even a "lag" issue. It's the constant resending due to lost stamina. This happens because the ring is so small. You want to constantly run to prevent your opponent from seeing your arms raise when you cast a spell. But, constantly running to hide your spell causes you to step over your opponent(because the ring is so small), which causes you to loose stamina and in the end that gives you the client resend. If the rings were even two squares bigger it would make a HUGE difference. This never happened on xuo because you were able to still step over ppl until you had like 10 stamina or something. And I'm not talking about xuo2 because I didn't play xuo2 so I dunno how it was on that server. But now, if you have 90 stamina or less it doesn't allow you to step over your opponent. This is when you get the client resend. If stepping over ppl didn't take stamina there wouldn't be a problem at all. Like I said, making the rings only 2 squares bigger would make a huge difference. Why not try a simple basic set up with a couple rings a couple squares bigger and let the players test it out for a while. And not just any players. Let the ppl who actually use the stones test it out.

So, wouldn't it make even more sense to just fix the stamina issue in the first place? I wouldn't mind people not being able to step over other people until they're down to like 10 stamina, that's what I'm used to from there sphere days anyways, and that's how it's suppose to be in my eyes, so I see no problem with that. Plus if that'd fix the "lag issue" without even having to remake the duel stones then that'd probably be the best option in my eyes.
