Odium Wrote:you have flooded this forum with idiotic messages.

Well Odium that is certainly the impression you are giving off. So let me get this straight, my opinion isn't any less valued then yours, it's just idiotic on every subject I ever talk about? Thanks, this really makes players feel appreciated and/or welcome Odium... Trying to discuss something with you makes me feel like you're holding a grudge against me for all of time because I didn't invite you to my birthday party one year.

Shade Wrote:For instance his carpet post isn't just geared around him, even if that was the intention, because its an item that only some people can make and thus can be sold which in turn adds to our economy.

Decorations and items are just as important to some people as your obsessive need for complete protection. At least he isn't talking about it in 3 different posts like someone else might.

Shade you are absolutely correct, carpets don't affect just 1 person. However I do believe there are means to involve more then a select group of people, and this is what I think will help the shard the most.

As to my topics on the guard issue, I posted them as they came up. How do you convince someone that what you're saying makes sense? You give examples. So as more scenarios of bad guards arose, I shared them and was looking for feedback on them to see if anyone else thought it was retarded. And because showing more incidents of it might have helped change people's opinions on the matter. I'm sure if you asked the guy in my example of someone that was killed at brit bank when talking, they would agree with me that it's gay it happened and that it would be nice if there was something that could be done against it.

Shade Wrote:In any case, every suggestion is heard here and every one of them hold the same value because no player is more important then the next. Please do not make other players feel less significant when trying to come up with suggestions. I don't care if someone suggests that we change the base color of doors for some reason because they are thinking about the shard and thats all that matters.

I'm glad to see that all opinions are equally weighed, but it seems all the ideas I come up with or suggestions I give to other people's ideas are given an answer that reads as 'no way in hell' and everybody else gets a 'yea this is freaking awesome, lets add it asap'. I try to think of myself as a person of logical reasoning, so I can understand coming up with some bad ideas, but every single one being bad? That's a stretch. Probability dictates if you try enough you will succeed and that if you like it someone else will. It would be nice if people gave some constructive criticism to try and improve on a base idea instead of the 'no way in hell' kind of answer.

I don't know how many times I can repeat myself, but I'm not trying to discourage people. I'm saying we need to try and come up with bigger and more badass suggestions. I fully agree that many little things help to give a great feel to a shard, but you still need means to attract people; a big glowing indigo sign saying "come play INX because we have this awesome <fill in the blank here>", like a vacancy sign on a motel lol.
