My theory on why the shard seems afk to people and why we need tournies to get some fun out is that we dont have much pvpers so pvpers cant do anything but be afk or log out unless theres a tourny.
The majority of players are Rpers or they don't pvp. Yeah its a rp/pvp shard but when an rper gets killed by somebody and looted its the end of the world for them.
They dont even try to learn how to pvp so what do we do. Pvpers log unless theres a tourny because thats when they have something to do.
Rpers do w.e they do in guarded areas etc but away from any type of danger. Thats why i posted that comment "more active staff hosting = more players" if we get some players back the shard will feel live again and ppl wouldnt feel like they r the only ones online not afk. Then with those players we would have something to do instead of just waiting for tournies then other people will call more ppl + more tounies so more players and a never ending chain reaction
