Haven't tried a trough. I only have like 80 carpentry and noone's selling troughs in the AH. I bought rabbi's logs to macro my carpentry with. 13,000 logs should get me some decent gains. I'll give it a shot when I can make one or can find one for sale.

And I was trying to fill from a water tile in a custom house. (The ones in the tile menu.) They work for cleaning bandaids so I thought they'd work for filling pitchers.
