It's a hidden folder, so you have to make sure you are able to view them.
1. Open up your windows explorer and and click on the Users folder
2. Click on Organize at the top left
3. Click on Folder and Search Options
4. Go to the View Tab
5. Then make sure "show hidden files, folders, and drives" is checked
6. Click apply to folders
Then try again and check if you can see the AppData folder.
