The problem with making specific rooms available of a static like an inn is, what if someone comes along with the cash to buy the whole inn? They cant now because someone is living in just 1 room of it. Its not fair to other players to do that.

This way you could "reserve" a whole static for yourself just by buying a room and nobody else could buy the whole static. You could then take however long you want to get rest of the money together and buy rest of the place.
