+1. I love Jiraiya's idea. Mostly cause i really want to use rides usable in ganking, not just opening ur bank and looking on ur "treasure" like a gollums. Its not about making rides easier to get, its just about allowing everyone who will work on searching for spawns/completing dungeons get a mount-reward for it. And no, people will still buy rides. For lot of ppl its just too boring to raise taming/go through dungens/search for spawns. So they'll still buy it. And if it will decrease prices a bit, its only + from my standpoint, cause current prices arent resonable. Noone who's planing to pvp on mount will buy it for 50k, just only people whos dying VERY rarely..
