I added a music box and did some testing, here's what you have to do.

• Get a music box and sheet music
  
• Single-click the music box and select "Index"
  
• Select "Add songs" and then target your song track item
  
• Single-click the music box again and select what music you want to play
  
• Double-click the music box and the music will start playing
  

You have to make sure you have music on in your UO options. If you have it off and turn it on you have to run at least a screen away from the music box and then back for the music to start playing.
