However, the problem tiesto mentioned is not caused by xs4all or the server. Pings that high is your own connection / isp. I checked with tiesto already and his connection got a high ping from his own isp, not when it crossed the ocean.
Yes, a new server is coming. The question is still when. The people at xs4all are very busy and don't know when they are able to get to the datacenter yet. I will receive a mail a week before they will go.
Once the server is upgraded, it will only solve lagspikes. It won't get your normal ping lower (at least not more than 10 - 20ms). So if you have a ping of 200, you will likely keep that ping. But if everything is alright, the lagspikes and stuff should be solved.
When I know when the server gets replaced. I will let you all know as well of course.
