In that instance the idea we had originally of pits runes only useable by dead players would come into play, this idea was liked by both staff and players and i think would be a good idea. They would also be placed in an area where your couldnt be res killed by monsters.

This is the idea I like most. It's like res/recall tickets, but without so much scripting time. It's simple, without bugs, and is for free.
