*** Taking a break over Christmas and New Years ***
#15

So W3C would deal with different types of accessibility and help people with handicaps. Yea no one blind would play Uo lol but maybe someone has trouble reading the font in the forums or website I.e. they will be able to change the display of the website to fit them. Or People with color blindness with have their computers set up a certain way and their web browser would be able to change the website to help them.

Another thing that would fall under the W3C would be to have a special layout for printing instead of having extra banners and adds, you would have only the information you want in a good layout. You can also have a layout so that if you are looking at the webpages through a handheld device i.e a palm pilot or something that the layout will shrink to fit the window. Or you can have it even so that if you change your window size from maximized to a smaller size the page will be dynamic and will adjust so that the words aren’t cut off.

Also it would be able to translate the page into any of the languages that users would use. Probably good since we have French and Spanish speakers.

Those last two would fall under the CSS portion but they help with compliance to the W3C.

Anyways thats some reasons off the top of my head.

Forgot to add that I do Flash also no coldfusion yet but maybe in the future.
