I too have been playing uo a very long time. Since beta days actually. 90% of my uo time was spent pvping.
Truth is everyone is going to find a different type of pvp that they grow fond of. No one way is perfect. Though out of all the shards I have ever played, probably around 70, this shard has the least pvp options.

Now don't get me wrong. I do like the scrolls here. The thing I hate is that you are limited to just lightning and fs for attack spells. I also do not like the fact that scrolls vs no scrolls is hopeless, that isn't a big deal though. It just turns me off of pvp when I cannot use any skills during fighting. Poisoning is way too slow, hiding cannot be used, other attack spells have no use, and tricks really don't work here. Oh and the 506 wops a second needs to be fixed. The spam wouldn't be bad if it masked attacks, not completely spammed a journal.

I never would say that the pvp here is bad. I really think that it can be improved though and I know I am not alone either.

I don't really agree with fizzling, that would ruin this pvp. Unlike some people, I just want to see more options... not complete changes.
