This prevents equal opportunity. One guild can place their house right near the spawn point, such as Vikings Guild, come out and gank everyone coming to tame the animals.

i've never been on a shard where it was possible to place a house in wind courtyard.. u just assumed it would be possible? and based your judgement on a false assumption? great job mate..

besides, in the way it is right now it's easier to control the mountspawns since once u've found one u'll know where to look next time.. i haven't found one single rare mount spawn yet..
