I want stuff from staffmembers which are hard to get "in the world".
For example players don't tend to fight 1vs1 much in the world, they prefer to gank in big groups to get a faster kill, so if you want some fun 1vs1 duels a tourney is a nice thing to have, plus it encourages PvP because players can test it out in a safe environment, and after that hopefully start duelling more in the world as well.
I also want quests because the quests out "in the world" just isn't the same as the monster bashes and stuff that the staffmembers create, they are far from it. Make world quests like the monster bashes with nickles as loot and I promise you that I will be doing some of those as well.
I also want 2vs2 tourneys and death by dice and pretty much anything that is fun, things that we don't get much of in the IN-world. I don't want it often but I want at least two tourneys (or quests) every day during my wake hours, not just for me but for the shard, because if I am so bored that I am thinking about if it's worth playing here every day a lot of other players probably think the same thing, I'm not saying that it is all up to you to fix it, but I really think that a minimum of two tourneys for every day I'm awake wouldn't be too much to ask for. (And once again I'm not talking about YOU, I'm talking about any staffmember, if only two staffmembers out of all the staffmembers you have would host one tourney each that would be enough).
And don't get me wrong, I like the "faction wars" and stuff too, and I would be very happy if more people aligned themselves in a none neutral way so that they could get ganked more.
I disagree about that we have a lot of monster bashes, quests or anything else like that. We barely have any during my timezone actually, and that's what I'm hoping that will change.
New players may "think" that nothing is happening at the shard during my timezone when reading my post, but guess what? that's how it is, so they just get the right impression. If this would change there would be no need for my posts and everybody would be happy. I'd probably end the post by saying "this issue is solved so delete my thread" if it is something that might scare players away.
My posts don't all relate back to the same thing, but what I pretty much care about is the PvP, the quests and the lag, so yes they are probably all about those things.
If "hosting events" would be something that you all decided to do only at weekends then that would be fine, it wouldn't be a good thing, but it would be fine. What isn't fine is that the other timezone has a lot of fun events and my timezone barely has any. Fact is that my timezone actually seem to have MORE active players than the other timezone, because todays monster bash has way more joiners than the night-bashes have, and yet we barely get any events.
I don't want to "flame", and I'm sorry if it sounds that way, I'm just trying to help the shard.
