Man...people want everything changed. You can make good money (better than iron) with "junk" ores if you make the right items. Try a few.

If they figure that out they will just move on to complaining about something else. Let them whine about something that obviously doesn't need fixing.

I think its a good idea. Just make it come with a penalty, lets say you bring the ore to a NPC and he changes it over with the "Philosophers Stone" or something, but the cost of transformation is 25% of the ore, so 100 old copper ingots, yields 75 iron ingots... Or something along those lines.

Changing the properties of metals... philosopher stones... I expect to here a suggestion about gloves that can cast flamestrike instantly, when you snap your fingers, next...
