Yeah definitely agree. I am a fan of fencing weps but they serve no use to me right now compared to swords. If I wanted to hunt or pvp with a spear or staff it should be possible to do near the amount of its sword counterpart.

At least we should have some craftable weps soon so that might add a bit to the diversity.
