I fail to see your "big" problem here, okay fine you work 12 hours a day and want to do something fun when you come home, well why dont you spar with a friend when your at work when you come home you got a decent combat skill, then go kill some monsters like 4 people and you should be able to take out some decent monsters ( thats fun ? ) and macro again while you sleep / work.. really not that hard to get skills, true some start with more than others, but isnt it fair that a INner that used like 4years on that char get a few % moved ? it isnt like we get 100% skill transfer
But yeah as it was said above, it aint no carebear shard UO was ment like you had to work alittle to get what you wanted and i truely hope it stays that way..

Did you start with your old skills? If so, make a new character and macro without any friends or outside help. Macroing .1 is a big difference from macroing 0.1 or 50.01 to 100.0 when you speak of alchemy or smithy.

People keep using "this ain't no carebear shard" excuse. Grow up. Set everyone to zero then let's go at it if you want to be a "man" about it. No one wants free shit, they just want a better chance to end your little mining session or so called newbie gank squad.

Not everyone has the luxury of using a computer at work, or having it on all the time. You can't berate him for wanting a hobby but having to provide for himself and/or family. Then again, most of you are probably too young to even know about it.

And I think I should take the time to mention here, the reason I'm speaking like this is not for my personal gain, but for the others. Consider it more of an advocate showing his care. My system for macroing is doing me plenty well and I've no complaints for myself, just trying to help others push out their reasoning, which I happen to see is a good one.
