house desiging would become like a trade, only a limited number of people can do it, and probably even fewer can do a great job at it. this is like how there won't be many gm blacksmiths. you are rewarded for what you do.
well i wouldn't recommend we delete someone's land, i would suggest a fine instead i went crazy when making houses and would spend over a week to get every little detail right... i wouldn't want it deleted if i've been working on it.
if we went with a timer of some sorts, id recommend if it hasn't been EDITED in 1 week, then it is fined say 10k. if another week goes by, it's fined 20k. (30k total after 2 weeks), week 3 is a 40k fine (70k total after 3 weeks) and the fine keeps doubling each week that goes by. this would encourage people to build it, but still give them time to build it, and if they are working on it, then they don't get fined. i would suggest a maximum fine equal to the cost of the house base. once that amount is reached, it's deleted.
