I am sure your opinion of humans is that we are a weak and pitiful race. However I believe you have not ventured beyond the limits of the realm of Britannia or beyond your underworld, for if you had, you would realize that not all humans are alike.
When I walk through these streets with the merchants looking at me, I can't help but think of how weak they are compared to the men of Ita. If the whole of Britannia were to march against my kingdom, we would not waste a second of our time thinking about their pathetic attempt to wage war against us.
Furthermore, I think you underestimate the threat these monsters pose. They care not wether you are a reaper, vampire, human, or beast. They will rip you apart limb by limb and pick their teeth with your bones. These monsters know no fear.
Finally, I must add that if your story was heard, but the King chose not to hear it, then it fell on deaf ears, and you have the right to explain yourself to your people least of all.
