I don't see why anyone would bother running around to collect these rare hides when the best one will only be as good as regular platemail. personally, i'd rather pay 2k to a vendor then to run around and spend maybe an hour collecting hides, then try to make the armor and fail :/

and im totally against changing your accuracy or attack speed based on armor. this would have a HUGE effect on pvp.

im all for having different colored or different types of leather, just i don't want to see bonuses or drawbacks.

besides, most people will fight in a tour with good quality armor when they get it; most likely extreme armor.
