True there is a lot of other things to do.. But I would bet the majority of the players are here for pvp and it's hard to have a competent pvp system without the craftable items + scrolls + pots etc. There is still virtually no pvp ever and the server has been open for a month now (give or take a few days).

It's gonna be pretty sweet for PVP though if you manage to GM Smithy before another rival guild. Or Bowcraft even.

I'm a bit disappointed that there hasn't been any going on and that staff haven't hosted anything to encourage it. There are a lot of things that could be done... That black guard event.. Small tournaments for gold.. Or even go another step and have everyone make alternate characters that get skills set and are given equipment so everyone is equal.. Then do a tourny or something like everyone is thrown into a house full of traps and have to duke it out, last one surviving wins etc... The list goes on. If staff need ideas for events like that i would be happy to help.. I have seen my fair share and even created a few.

The Black Guard event is nearly done. I just have to add an item to the scripts that can be used as a currency (the special item that the guards drop). Though I suppose I could start sooner and just add items that are renamed to look like the currency then replace them later.

I don't know how to do the Black Guard event though. I don't know how to PVP for beans, so I think I'll end up opening up an application for Black Guards to players. About 3 should be enough.

I'll have to test to see if the Capture the Flag and Color Wars event stones are still working. If they are, I'll start hosting those more often.

Edit: Also just want to say that i'm not trying to bash the staff as i think they are doing a great job so far. I know they have put in effort to create quests for players that also have decent rewards. Speaking for just myself though, I really don't have much of an interest in killing npcs, it's just not why i play. If i wanted to kill npc monsters I would play a newer MMO where the satisfaction of killing also comes with leveling up

Thanks. I'm mostly focused on adding in-game quests, areas, deco, and events and am trying to find ways to make it more fun/rewarding.
You make a good point though, and I'll try to start doing more PVP based events, though I'm pretty terrible at hosting tourneys.
