nope, i took care of that. normally i have it as
1) main HD
2) dvd-rom
3) floppy
when trying to boot from the cd i changed it to
1) dvd-ram
2)main HD
3) floppy
didnt work so then i had to change it to
1) floppy
2) dvd-ram
3) main HD
so then i used the floppy boot disks and i tried several times.
i dont know if i mentioned this, but i was trying to format both my HDs then install XP and the last 3 or 4 times i tried doing this, it turned out only one HD could be formatted at a time, and then XP would immediately install onto that HD. so i removed my 2nd HD and now im formatting the main one and installing XP. once that's done i can reconnect the 2nd HD and format it through windows
