Alright, here's the deal. Some time ago we hired three new developers to help out with IN:X. Sotho Tal Ker, The Tome and Pepper. Unfortunately we didn't get the help we expected from two of these devs (The Tome and Pepper) which means that Sotho Tal Ker is basically the only one scripting right now.
So I'm asking anyone that knows C# and RunUO to help us out for a while. Our main concern is to fix all the bugs we have on the bugtracker. The rest of the stuff Nasir and Sotho Tal Ker should be able to take care of.
Send me a PM or e-mail me at
[email protected]. The more help we get, the faster IN:X will be able to go live.
And please only contact me if you are willing to spend at least a couple of hours a week to help out.
Thanks

Please define 'spend at least a couple of hours a week'!!
And no I'm not being sarcastic about it, I really want to know.

The reason I write that is because I don't want to hire a coder that only can help 1 hour a month.
I don't want to set a minimum either, since maybe someone can just help 1 hour one week, but maybe 10 hours next week. Point is, if or when we hire a new developer, that person should actually be able to fix some bugs.

99.9% sure that I can solve your hardest script problem using my resources and knowledge of C#, if you want a test you have access to my profile and contact to send me the best and messier script that you can get.
Either way this is a one stand only, and you will be granted only the solution to correct 1 of the hardest bugs you can encounter on a script related to IN-X development.
I have not the time to propose myself to such a task, and I admit publicly that It was wrong for me and to the community for having accepted the Staff positions on IN1 and IN2, mainly because I was all heart and no brains, I'm glad though to have realized that I have a good irl life that beats up UO.
now don't send me something and expect me to reply within 1 hour frame, I work hard for a living and I hardly get the time to even run my own web page even if it turned out to be a blog ... so go figure

Holy crap.
I wasn't trying to insult you, heh. I was just making a statement. I mean in the short time that I staffed on Phantasya, it was my impression that you simply weren't a developer as far as the "programming" side of Phantasya went. I'm not sure I have your ICQ anymore, but if you really want me to I can throw you an issue. You just have to promise not to ask Arya or Carding. ;]
(not that that's a bad thing. Carding practically tought me my first bits of C#.)

That's not so much hard as it is tedious ;p
I was going to have him write a regular expression to scan through all the sphere npc chat files to get all of their keywords and responses

This hasn't been done yet?? I think this is more important for the shard than making sure tailoring works like sphere.

I wrote an export script for IN:R's PlayerMobiles when we first started. That apparently got lost.
