Valentines day is a sham anyway directed towards getting males to spend even more money on their girlfriends or wives all so they can get laid as let's face it, that is the only reason guys spend money on girls in the first place if you say otherwise you are a lying whipped bastard who should perform a do-it-yourself castration and give the finished product to your girl (providing you have not done so already)

In summing up Valentines day is for chumps and it is basically prostitution (except without those tailored extras) and im glad im single for this years one so I dont have to fork out money for a stupid present and can now buy more alcohol ,video games, and pornography.

Is there any holiday that isn't bogus then? If you think that there is "authentic" holidays, what makes them different and authentic? Just curious cause to me valentines is just like any other holiday, difference is that you "celebrate" each other intead eg that jesus was born, the sacrifice he made and the spring coming etc etc.

Sorry, was just curious I have a very atheistic view on life so I find a lot of holidays to be bogus, yet I celebrate them.
