Skill Rewards
#1

Just curious but is there a reason that Tinkering is like the only crafting skill that doesnt have a reward?
#2

I think that's only because of how easy it is
#3

Pretty time consuming actually.

It's by far the cheapest/fastest crafting skill

Alchemy is easy too, but there's a reward for it.

Cartography cooking and fishing are considerably tough skills to GM and you don't get a reward for those, I didn't design it Tongue
I'm not saying that there shouldn't be a tinkering reward I'm just saying that a possible reason for not having one could be that tinkering is actually really easy to train, easier than alchemy. Especially if you have surplus lesser poison from alchemy, then you can GM remove trap which will put you at about 80 tinkering. From there you can make bottles, spoons, whatever until GM. That's pretty easy for a craft skill Tongue The reason for the easy skillgain is probably because tinkering is kind of a secondary skill to blacksmithing.

Im at 80 tink and gains are slooooow. I went through like 8k ingots and only gained .4.
#8

i think tinkering requires around 100k~150k ingots... it was pretty fast to me =x

Yeah! I'd like to see a reward for fishing, by the way!!!

Not sure what kind of reward you're looking for, but if you're thinking of a newbied fishing rod renamed and colored like all other reward items, you can exchange for one when you have 3000 serpent scales for exchange at Ocllo Docks.
