Good way to prevent lag during PvP.
#1

I get a lot of bouncing back and lagging around in PvP and think its because you turn to face your enemy when you cast on them and use melee on them causing, especially for people with lag already, to bounce around and stop a lot. Turn that off and you should run more smoothly.
#2

actually i think thats supposed to happen... because you cant cast backwards, hit backwards or shoot an arrow backwards =x
the bounce you get is exactly that =x
#3

Raziel I'm pretty sure you're the only player that thinks we should lag around because you "can't cast backwards"

Besides, how do you know that it's impossible to cast magic backwards? I've never tried it, have you?

Give me a halberd or a katana and stand behind me. I bet I can kill ya by swinging it backwards. Same with a bow Smile

The idea is to keep from your character being forced to turn around while you are already moving.

dude really? when you mean to talk seriosully i will reply to you again.. but what i meant is in the game you cant do that!! then you add so you can freely cast/hit/shoot and complain its too wasy to run away!!
I didnt mean to make any joke or be chiilldish! everyone knows you cant cast anything irl u.u u're the only one who makes suggestions then make a joke out of it..

In my opinion making people bounce around and lag is NOT a good solution to how easy it is to run away....

[COLOR="#FF0000"]Oh I totaly understand what youre trying to point here, so you seriously think the lag is caused by that?

Cant wait to see that Taran opinion will be about it.

Like I said it's an animation that raises the players hands it will hardly cause any lag whatsoever. The reason the other shards remove it is so that you can't see when the cast will come in

the sparkles and flames of spells cause more animation that would cause more lag than this considering you can barley see the hands moving

It's much more than that. When you cast, you change direction. Casting a lot while running creates a skippy effect a lot of the time, and having high ping doesn't help that. I don't know why it happens here though... Probably because we are trying to emulate sphere 51a on runuo Tongue

We can try it but I mean lag is lag animations won't help this problem.. if anything animations have to do with FPS not casting and spell delays

Yep Habibi.

smoke- wrong again bud.

OH ya thats how computers work....derp thought animation cause sever lag like woahhhhhhhhhh...

next its going to be disable in game chat cause it causes lag
#12

But thats how it works, it always worked this way - turning to the targets direction I mean, when you attack last and stuff, wouldn't make much sense to disable it for spells. Thats how you define on WHO the people are casting. Right now if I see them "turn" into my direction as the Kal Vas Flam appear on the top of their head I know that I must start taking some drastic measures in order to stay alive Tongue well you get the point. Altho, if it would really stop people lagging I'm all for disabling it but gosh, it's definitely not the change I'd like to see;p If spam or some kind of power word disabling was in the place then I'd certainly would be against it but since we don't have it, oh well..

I say it's Lags that causing players to lag and we disable him somehow xd
