not sure how los isnt as important...lets see 2 people fs's the crap out of me..guess ill just take the hits instead of Los..serious

ya and most games have a dedicated sever thats not 500000000(exaggeration) miles away from the us...

One server i played had Feluccia and Trammel lands, maybe use this concept to put in two different worlds on this server? Then you could switch back and forth if you wanted to, and go to each style of pvp.

Forcing someone to duel is kinda like PKing. PKing is incredibly difficult here. (not including newb killing) If you know what you are doing and don't want to die, you wont, I don't care HOW good the Pker is. You guys keep talking about tweaking weapon damage which I totally agree with and it will be nice for arena pvp, but as far as outside world PvP it won't matter.

Maybe have some differences between world PvP and arena/tourny PvP? No minor tweak or change is going to help world PvP. It would have to be some things somewhat drastic. Not saying switching to fizzle PvP, but something. Possibly something like making G manas give you 2x the amount of mana they do in arenas or make greater heal fizzleable or take longer to cast.


edit- forget my ideas I like Vys and his 47 HP FS idea.

mana isn't the issue, what the issue is when you fizzle a spell you lose the mana or los the spell you still lose the mana for it that's what the problem is.. But yeah like you said and i've also said it in previous posts it's nearly impossible to kill people here who know how to simply run away and cast greater heal one or two times

You'd need either precasting or really massive spell damage to change that though I think... Don't see either of those as viable at this stage.

we had people precasting on in-x without mana loss and players still died, and there was a 3 limit hit although yes fs damage did more (46) and lighting (18) greater heal spell (42) scroll was (36) i think

I was under the impression IN:X was sphere style. Precasting is where you are frozen whilst casting as if paralyzed like on OSI or AoS servers. I actually love this mechanic and think it's a good idea but it isn't what most the playerbase came here for.

Oh i meant precasting like pre healing before you got hit or you decided to fizzle it and don't lose mana for it

as i dont remember IN1 pvp perfectly but i do remember it being fun as hell and having mass amount of people turn out and it still being fun...but i do remember is you had precast like loki said (where you cant move while casting) and archery was alot better...i think that would make pvp alot more fun again..because if you wanted to cast you couldnt just run away all the time..

Actually it was IN2 that had precast, IN1 definitely did not. I honestly don't think there would be support for such a change here. Trust me I wish there was, I love precasting and think it adds a lot of skill to spell selection and timing, but it isn't Sphere and that's what we are selling and most people are here to buy.
