Poker Tourney
#1

HI all,

Would anyone be interested in a poker tourney? I'm not sure if there's anywhere else you can play poker where there's more tables/dealers.. but I'm sure if there was enough interest a GM would help out. Would love to see an event out of this.. a great way to socialize and spend an evening.

Basically standard buy in and everyone gets equal amount of chips. Winner get 90 or 95% of the winnings and runner up gets the rest. I love poker and so does my character.

Yes, Id love to play a tournament! But Id like the buy in to be about 25k!.. Itd be awesome. I also posted in the suggestions thread about implementing a highstakes game!

Great suggestion!

But I think that 90-95% of the "buy ins" for the winner is a little too much, it won't motivate enough players because the chance of winning will be too small. I think that it should be 70% of the "buy-ins" for the winner, and 30% for the second place, that's still A LOT of money for the winner, and still a decent amount for second place too Smile That'd make me interested for sure Smile

Yea Idc.. If the buy in is big enough 75% of the winnings would be perfect

Ya, I would be good with that. Was just a random percentage.

As of right now I only know of one poker table. Wouldn't be enough for a large enough group. Woulds be nice to have everyone pay a set buy in, then play each at a table, winners of each table go to a final table for the win.
