I'm rewriting the FAQ for the website and I need help.
If you could please post some FAQ's here I will put them on the website. Note that it shouldn't be detailed questions that need detailed answers, that will be found on the website.
Instead I want more general questions, like "How do I join your server?" "What skillcap do you have?" etc

Thanks Smile

Here's some random questions that new players might ask when starting playing UO, or coming to a specific server:

In what country is the server located?

Does the shard have a good server with a fast connection?

What is sphere?

How is a freeshard different from OSI?

Where is the help menu in the game?

How do I contact a game master in the game?

Do I have to update my UO to the most recent version?

Do I need samurai empire to play at IN:X?

Ah well that's some questions anyways Wink

Well, since i love jeopardy, i give you an answer.

The language used in game, is english!

(I did not know how to formulate a question in any good way, but my point was that english is what people should at least try to speak in game.)

No man, it's fun as ppl talk hatefull over other ppl in there own language.

I can tell you that uo-players, who's looking for a shard they want to spend hours by hours on, they want a shard with good solidarity, and be knowing that they can communicate with most of the people.

That is my opinion.
When i was looking for a shard, my highest priority was that the shard was using english. And maybe its hard to see that people dont know how to speak english in big uo shards, but i've played on such shards. And when they know they dont even have to try use english, they wont.

So maybe a good question and answer would be something like;

Am i allowed to use my own language?

-Try to use english as far as you can, if you can't, then its ok to use your own language.

Ofcourse the main language will be Englisch. People will speak this always to people from other countries. But i will always talk Dutch to someone who lives in Holland to. My Englisch is far from perfect, but i know other Dutch ppl from ages ago which have a harder time speaking it (or atleasy trying).
Alot of Spanish guys have this problem to.

What is the balance between RP and PvP?
Is PvP regulated at all against roleplayers?

I also think defining some words specific to INX would help. Like 'nos' and such things. Abbreviations for weapons, that sort of thing. So that people can understand conversations in the forums.

Selling Forges and Anvils, 15k Each, 25k for both.
Selling Looms and Spinning Wheels, 15k Each, 25k for both.
Selling Water Troughs, 10k Each
Help me help you, contact info in my profile.
