I support the leather idea!! Or if that's not agreeable how about making bone armor have a useful AR so that its actually worth making?

Leather yes
But I'm not quite sure how to do the alchemy dyes. The main issue is how will you choose the color? Will you need different ingredients or do you just type in the hue ID? Both seem kinda weird to me...

I remember that in old IN1 we had hair dye tubes, maybe staff can added it and you can acces to dye your hair with rare colors.. Useing that tubes, 2click of your rare color tube to hair dye tube. This way ppl can sale their colors to players...
Hurray for colorful heads....

I'm pretty sure s/he meant that you have to have specific and somewhat rare ingredients for certain colors. All you'd have to do add is a craftable tub of that color that has a certain number of uses (like 3 or 5 or 10). After you use it all up, it disappears. And require GM tailoring and alchemy to craft them or something.
So a scenario would be you get 4 of the ingredients for a Fire color (same as the armor). Something like dragon scales, daemon scales, sulfurous ash, and volcanic ash. You d-click your mortar/pestle and make the appropriate selection, it removes the ingredients, and you have a fire colored tub with 5 uses left. With which you can dye furniture/clothing/hair. After you use it 5 times, it's gone.

Very situational and while it would be fun and have a little use, I think that it wouldn't be used enough to be worth scripting and I can't imagine it selling well on vendors.
