I think it would be cool if players could rent a GM character and design a static house for themselves and then pay the staff based on the cost. I don't mean a player would tell a GM to place a wall from here to here, add a roof, add a decoration here, etc... I mean they log on a GM character and design the house themselves.
Of course the problem here is that GM characters have a lot of privilages and someone could cheat gold or items for themselves, or do other negative things to the shard, so for this idea to work Taran would need to create another level of staff character and limit their commands to only certain things like add, delete, etc. Or limit their powers to a certain area that a higher level staff member can mark off with a region flag. Is this possible?
The reason I am suggesting this is basically so people can make their own static houses since a lot of the nice ones are gone and of the ones that are left maybe someone won't like them. Having this kind of possibility would encourage someone to log on to hunt and earn money so they can make themselves a really cool static house that you can't make with the custom house presets.
As an example, I want to build the X-Men complex as a static house, and since it's pretty large and has an unusual shape I can't just place an 18x18 custom house and design it on there.
