Man I tried to login from 2 laptops and 1 PC and STILL cant login to the server. Keeps crashing me once I start typing ingame... I can run around, once I type, it crashes...
Whats the issue?.. honestly the hardest time i've had logging into a UO server, is it cause i use vista?
Thanks

he tried using injection, razor and the client itself.
he has the correct login info (login.in-x.org,2593)
all the proper boxes checked and he's using the same client as mine (5.0.1)

Right click all the executables, go to the Compatibility tab and select "Run as Administrator" maybe. Do that for the client, and Razor/Injection.
I'm running into a lot of problems with Vista/Win7 that are caused by the UAC not letting the program do things it needs to to function correctly, but it seems like it's working fine.
e.g: the patcher will look like it's patching, but it doesn't have the permission to change files so nothing really gets patched. :<
-edit-
If you're computer savvy at all, you can just disable UAC. I hate it with a passion and I think it just trains novice users to just hit YES YES YES even more than usual.

I just can't log on also... keeps telling me '' Failed to open 'map1.mul' from HD using a maximum install. Either this file is not readable, your systeme needs to be rebooted, or the file does not exist either to reinstall or switch to a non-maximum install. ''
I've worked all the options...... won't work

I'm pretty sure I know the problem, and it has to do with installing and running the UO Patcher without admin privs.
I tried installing on my brother in law's computer (with UAC) and the patcher would look like it was doing things, but really wasn't since it didn't have write permission to the directory.
I think you'll have reinstall UO and run the patcher as Administrator.
I should make a post about Vista / Win 7 and UO. It seems to cause lots of problems.

gaiton make a copy of map0.mul and renamed it to map1.mul
also for the other files it says ur missing.
Try to delete Transerv.exe from your UO folder.

Alright, I'll just reinstall uo, again... For the 5th time, (**** that patcher takes sooooo damn long...lol)
but yea eru, when I go to into compatability I don't see"run as administrator" instead it says "run with windows service pack 2" and the test of my choices are windows versions.
Eg... Windows 98, windows 2000, etc.
So is this Administrator problem my problem?
Thanks
