Also ALL skill reward items SHOULD be lootable (if ur trying to change it so it's not) because if people are dumb enough to get it looted, it's their own fault. As far as I know this isn't supposed to be a carebare shard where ppl can leave certain items in places because they know they can't get looted or used by other ppl.

Back in XUO all items were lootable newbied or not, no matter how rare they are.

it's like having an R/R Bard, why do u think everyone keeps them in their bank? It's because no one wants to take the chance in loosing it.

False. 10k fame is part of the requirement to buy the shield. You can have any amount of fame once you own it and still equip it.

If you read the rules, stealing skill rewards is not allowed.

If you read the skill rewards page, you will see that shields fall under the category of skill rewards.

Unlike an R/R bard, skill rewards cannot be obtained again so it is clear as to why this would be different.

Funny how those two contradict themselves. I house looted the chaos sheild, is the chaos sheild obtained by skill? No hence I should be allowed to use it. Fame/Karma ARE NOT SKILL ANYWAYS.

I could see the order/chaos/neutral shields lootable and stealable though (and usable by anyone). If that's what the majority wants.

Anyways I just want to use my chaos sheild, yes mine since I own the thing. I looted it fair and square, there is no skill in order to acquire it either.

Smoke house looted Rupert and looted his GM tame crook.

Rupert Paged and Vulcan get the Crook from Smoke and returned to his owner (Rupert).

Smoke made that thread (the link above) and *****ed about what Vulcan did, after much flame and wine, staff took the crook from Rupert and gived back to Smoke ( The Thief =P )

there have been countless reward items stolen and nothing has been done when people have paged GMs

Also I even made a thread because there was an inccident that happened where Vulcan took my 2nd crook and replaced it after I house looted it and I think you and shade both posted in the thread that it was his fault and that's why you guys personally returned it to me..

exactly it's an item in his house, if it's newbied he should keep it in his bank or his pack it's his own fault that he lost that item that's why its called HOUSE LOOTED.

Not really a problem, if Rupert wants it back he will get it back.

I'm the one that created this rule because I feel that you the skill rewards are something you got by training hard (well maybe except magery) and it's something personal to remind you of what you had to do to get it.
Everything else can still be looted so it's not even close to carebear. I think more people will quite because they had their skill rewards stolen rather than not being able to steal skill rewards.

This hasn't really been a rule before, sometimes the person got their reward back, sometimes they didn't. That's why I felt I had to create a rule for this and I decided that skill rewards are not stealable.

But as I said, the shields are still up for discussion.

so then this rule applys after I house looted rupert and i get to keep the crook or else all statics made after certain rules will get revoked as well then
